creating fictional stories based on what irritates me

Hi all,
I wasn't sure whether to put this here or in writers block, since it concerns writing, but isn't a spem or essay or story. My mom and I were bothered several times today by stupid telemarketers. When the last one called and asked for my mom by name, and she snapped, no, she's not here, she won't ever be here and don't call again. I got kind of a chuckle out of it, and it gave me an idea of writing a story in which a serial killer targets and murders telemarketers. I like writing stories based on things that irritate the heck out of me, and telemarketers are at the top of the list. The problem is, there's no way to track them. They are pretty much always different ones, and, the motive for killing telemarketers is a pretty weak one at that, even for someone who might be insane. As irritating as telemarketers are, most ofus are satisfied to shout at them, yell at them and be very hateful to them, but would anyone be so desperate to get them to leave them alone actually murder them? Would anyone have any thoughts on this, and how it could be done, or if I could somehow built up a strong enough motive for havintg someone killing off telemarketers?
